Our first year!

This could not have happened out with people’s trust, feedback, and creative collaboration. People’s competitive spirits came out during Minute-to-Win-It on the first night. No drizzle could fizzle-out our “Camp Fire” story-telling night of childhood memories. A pop-up volleyball tournament lasted two hours, while folks tried their hands at archery and the rope swing. Campers quickly shifted from sweaty square-dance attire to their Sturgeon Moon costumes, then boogied to the tunes of DJ SuzChef while the stars shined above. The weekend was peppered with friendship bracelet exchanges, coffee chats in rocking chairs, decorating for our dance, and many other slower moments to balance the high-energy events.
